🌟 History made as Murphy claims National Title 🌟

Lauren Murphy made history today for Cilles AC as she ran a scorching 1500m in the National U19 Indoor Championships, Lauren becomes the first Cilles AC athlete to claim a national title

Lauren won in style as she came from 4th position with 300m to go and picked off the leaders one by one to find herself leading the race with 100m left where she held on to claim gold in a personal best time of 4:46.

Equally impressive was Holly Brennan who claimed silver in a talent packed U18 1500m race, Holly was back in 5th place until 200m when she pulled an incredible finishing kick out of the bag to pass all but the winner, 

Ciaran ran in the U19 boys race and showed good form and consistency in a very competitive race to finish 12th
