The program will focus on teaching
Improve overall fitness and running economy.
All to improve health to help prevent injuries
Group environment to provide support and encouragement
If you are out of shape and haven't ran in a while, this is the programme for you
What is programme all about?
This Couch 2 5k programme is an initiative to provide beginners and improvers a solid foundation for running and exercising in general, its for both men and women to train with like minded individuals. Runners/joggers will have a support structure where they can enjoy all the benefits of running in a social, safe and organised environment.
Every Tuesday and Thursday evening beginning on Tuesday 7th January typically be in the Bettystown area but may change during the program.

How much does it cost?
€90 for 2020 Club membership is required.
After the C25K programme you are encouraged to stay on in the club and continue participate in our training, summer league and social events.
After the programme you can join one of the other many groups that run with the club.
If I become a member what do I get for my money?
Insurance cover when taking part in any Athletics Ireland event or organised club activity
Discounts on many Athletic Ireland events.
Organised training runs two times weekly with plenty of advice, encouragement and training tips
Exercise in a safe, friendly and fun environment
Access to participate follow up club training programs
You become part of this athletic club and can take part in club events
