THE BETTYSTOWN 5 “B-5” IS AN EXCITING NEW FIVE MILE ROAD RACE & FUN RUN COMBINED WITH CHILDRENS RACES WHICH WILL BE HELD IN THE STUNNING COASTAL VILLAGE OF BETTYSTOWN CO. MEATH ON SUNDAY THE 26TH JULY 2015
This is the inaugural event and as the first of its kind in Bettystown we really want to make this a run to remember. We are desperately trying to keep the costs down to so that we can pass the savings onto the participants and have a budget entry fee. To do this we need help from businesses and individuals who would like to support the event.
TEAMING UP WITH THE B-5 WILL GIVE YOUR BUSINESS THE PLATFORM IT NEEDS BY GAINING EXPOSURE TO A COMMUNITY OF ACTIVE ENERGETIC INDIVIDUALS RANGEING FROM AGE 5-90.
B-5 IS ACTIVELY SEEKING PARTNERS TO ASSIT WITH THE COSTS INVOLVED ENSURING THIS EVENT IS AN OUTRIGHT SUCESS.

Anchor Sponsor – As the Anchor sponsor you will have your business name linked with the event and will receive
Extended exposure leading up to the event
Prominent (business name or logo) on t-shirt
Prominent identification (business name and logo) as a major sponsor on publicity material, Including printed and online material and all paid-for advertising
Listing as a major sponsor in all media releases relating to the event
A Free Entry for up to 5 people to participate in the event
Male & Female Senior race – 1st Prize Sponsor recognition
Premium position on the event T-shirts
Sponsor a Winners Prize – Cash prizes can be donated or sponsored by individuals and companies.
Runners talk about prizes and the B-5 intends to offer over €2000 in cash prizes for this event and we need so much help to reach this. This prize fund will attract some of the finest athletes in the country. Prize money is awarded to Senior, Junior and Masters both male and female. Prize giving ceremonies typically make the local press across the North east, Drogheda and the county of Meath. Having your business associated with the prize funds you will gain coverage in many ways.
Companies may sponsor Prizes in the following Male and female categories
Senior race – 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th
Masters over 40, 45, 50, 55 & 60 – 1st & 2nd
Juniors under 20 – 1st & 2nd
Club Team 1st & 2nd
Sponsors of winner’s prizes will have their company mentioned while presenting the prize and companies will have their logo and a link to their website on the B-5 race website and have sample products or flyers in each goody bag.

Sponsor a Mile - Mile Markers can be sponsored with your business name or logo.
This option gives great exposure to runners. Runners are always glad to see mile markers as they make their way through the course and are checking their time and distance to keep their pace in check.
Mile Sponsors will have their company name or logo on the sponsored mile boards and will have their logo and a link to their website on the B-5 race website and having sample products or flyers in the goody bags.
Spot Prizes – Spot prizes can be donated or sponsored.
Individuals and companies can sponsor a spot prize spot prizes will be presented to random finishers as they cross the finish line. And companies will have their logo and a link to their website on the B5 race website and having sample products or flyers in the goodybags.
Sponsor the goody bags – All entrants will receive a Goody bag.
Every entrant needs to have a goody bag and what better way to plug your business or product than having your sample products or flyers in the goody bags.
Sponsor the T-SHIRTS – We Plan to provide at least 300 entrants with a special B-5 T-Shirt depending on numbers
At least 400 entrants will receive a special B-5 t-shirt with a limited number of advertising positions available you may contribute to the cost of the T-shirts and earn a position for your logo, There are 2 positions available on the back, (only the anchor sponsor has position on the front) in addition companies have their logo and a link to their website on the B-5 race website and may have their sample products or flyers in the goody bags.
Sponsor the Medals – All finishers will receive a special B-5 Medal
Each finisher will receive a special B-5 medal as recognition for their achievement. Sponsors may contribute toward the cost of medals and will have their logo and a link to their website on the B-5 race webpage and may have their sample products or flyers in the goody bags.

The Bettystown 5 Mile (B-5) welcomes offers from all Businesses and Companies who are willing to support this event.
Hosted by Cilles Athletic Club Bettystown. The club is affiliated with Athletics Ireland. The race has an Athletics Ireland Permit and is Fully Insured. The course is measured and certified to International standard meaning that If a County, National, European or World record is made on the course it will stand. The club adheres fully to the safety standards and recommendations laid out by Athletics Ireland the governing body of athletics in Ireland.
Cilles Athletic Club caters for adults of all ages and children from the age of 6. The club has made substantial progress in their first season of athletics and has claimed eight county medals in juvenile cross country competition. But apart from competition they have encouraged so many men, women and children to participate in running and have contributed to a positive community focused on health and fitness. Cilles Athletic Clubs mission is simple yet complete “To inspire everyone to run” a huge challenging task but they are up for the challenge and would love partners to help with the journey.
