Cilles AC 10 week running Program

 

Kick off your 2017 with a positive healthy running programme. The new 10 Week Running Programme is Beginning this Tuesday 10th Jan

The program will focus on teaching

  • Good running Posture

  • Increase Strength with strength training for runners

  • Improve flexibility

  • Develop a nice running style

  • Improve overall fitness and running economy.

  • All to improve health to help prevent injuries
     

If you are out of shape and haven't ran in a while, this is the programme for you

What is programme all about?

This 10 week programme is an initiative by Cilles AC to provide beginners and improvers a solid foundation for running and exercising in general, its for both men and women to train under the guidance of qualified athletic coaches. Runners/joggers will have a support structure where they can enjoy all the benefits of running in a social, safe and organised environment.

Where?

Tesco Bettystown Carpark,  the main carpark at the back. Runs will typically be in the bettystown area but may change during the program.

DO NOT PARK IN FRONT CARPARK, YOU MAY GET CLAMPED

 

When?

Every Tuesday and Thursday evening begining on Tuesday 10th January

 

What time?

7:30pm sharp.

 

How much does it cost?

Its free for registered 2017 members, To become a member the cost is €80 for 2017

The cost of the 10 week programme is €50 for non members.

After the 10 week programme you may want to stay on in the club and the remaining cost will be €30.

 
After the programme you can join one of the other many groups that run with the club.

 

If I become a member what do I get for my money?

  • Insurance cover when taking part in any Athletics Ireland event or organised club activity

I'm so unfit and out of shape?

This programme is suitable for beginners and improvers and those in between.

Please Note: All participants must complete both the membership form and the attached medical assessment form before they start. Please print and bring it with you or deliver to a committee member in advance. Anybody who isn't currently engaged in regular exercise must consult their doctor before starting this programme
